Meet Hajar
Hajar Abdul-Rahim is the founder of Quddus Heart. She is completing her training in Yoga RYT-500. She has a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Southern Maine, and teaches college English in Florida. Polka-Dotted Heart is her first published picture book. Hajar believes true transformation is slow, painful, and hard work. But when done correctly, and with a sincere intention to change, it leads to beautiful levels of compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. Her greatest ambition is to return to God with a peaceful heart, which is why she embarked upon a journey of inner cleansing and change.
Hajar loves reading and writing stories that nourish the soul. She loves stories that allow her to experience life from someone else's shoes. Stories that help her find out who she is, her purpose, and how to navigate through life.
Barbara Cooney, a famous children's author, wrote in her picture book Miss Rumphius, “You must do something to make the world more beautiful.”
That's why she created Quddus Heart, to help herself and others transform from the inside out, and return to God with a heart of peace.
